In the eyes of Lincoln, life is liberating for the poor slaves, while basketball is all the meaning of life for Jordan. From my point of view, life is just life. L-I-F-E, life.
Yes, life is simple because it only concludes four letters. To a man, the way he lives may be simple but his life can’t just be like a piece of white paper. So, let’s put 4 meaningful words into our life. L—love, I—ideal, F—friends, E-effort. L-I-F-E-LIFE! The life in my eyes consist of the 4 parts- love, ideal, friends, effort.
With parents’ love and expect, we came to this world and grow healthy and strong while teachers’ love gives us more intelligence. With love even the poor can enjoy the sunshine of peace, while the people in hunger can see the bright world from love. Love is so important for the world.
In my mind, the second letter of the word life stands for ‘ideal’. As is known to all, a soldier who does not want to be a marshal is not a good one. The same, one’s life without ideal must be a failure. Every success roots from great ideal.
Then F is for friends. In this world, friends are the people who leave footprints on our hearts. Friends are the people who understand us when we are happy, sad or lonely. Friends are the people who will go with us all through our life.
The last letter is for ourselves. For a man, especially for the young, effort is very important to achieve success. Without effort, Jordan can’t fly on the court and Thomas Watson can’t be famous for his IBM. As the words say, no star is out of reach but we must make efforts!
Isn’t it a meaningful life? So, for the ideal of our life, please make every effort with our friends and value the love around us!
